New online resources guide to Releasing your Music
At Jazz North we understand the challenges faced by independent artists releasing their own music, especially for the first time. With this in mind we commissioned Northern Line alumni artist Ni Maxine to create our latest online resource. Releasing your Music is a step-by-step guide which directs you in thinking about your release timeline, your goals and how you’ll measure them, your target audience (and how you might reach them) as well as making sure you’ve looked after the back-end of the release from the production to the distribution to royalty collection to budgets. With sections on funding, building your team and reflection the document will support your musical journey post release date.
We hope that you will find this resource useful. Don’t forget to tag Jazz North @jazznorth on socials when releasing new music and we will repost any relevant events or opportunities.
