Jazz Scene Meet-Up @ Durham Jazz Festival (Redhills)

Are you a jazz musician or promoter working in the North East?

Join members of the Jazz North team on Friday 23rd October from 2.30-5pm in The Banner Room at Redhills, Miners Hall, for a gathering of the North East jazz community during the Durham Jazz Festival. This is an opportunity to connect into the jazz scene, network with peers and learn more about how Jazz North can support your work.  As always, our forums are a safe space to reflect, share ideas and ask questions.

What is Jazz North?

Jazz North is the Strategic Development Agency for jazz in the north of England. Founded in 2012, Jazz North is a registered charity with an established national and international reputation in Artist Development, Sector Support and Learning & Participation.

What is Redhills?

Redhills (officially the Durham Miners' Hall) is a historic Grade II listed building in Durham, England, and the former headquarters of the Durham Miners' Association. Often called Durham's ‘other cathedral’, it has been ranked among the nation's top landmarks for power, protest, and progress. Following a multi-million-pound restoration, Redhills operates as a community, heritage, education, and events center.
