Girls just want to have fun…
and play jazz!

I enjoyed playing my instrument and making new friends. I really want to do it again, I liked it so much. Please do it again!” 2025 summer camp participant

You spoke - and we listened! Our Sound! Music Hub summer jazz camp in Prescot was such a success that we’re going to repeat the experience in Sefton!

The camp will run from Tuesday 21st - Thursday 23rd July from 10am-3pm each day at the Sefton Professional Development Centre (225 Park Rd, Formby, Liverpool, L37 6EW) There will be a sharing session for family and friends on Thursday 23rd July at 2.30pm.

Who can attend?

Our jazz camps are safe spaces for girls aged 8-14 to explore improvisation in a fun, supportive environment. To take part girls should have a basic ability on their instrument (approx Grade 1 standard) but all instruments and vocalists are welcome to attend.

Places for individuals who reside in the Liverpool City Region and Warrington are fully funded and can be booked via the link below (bookings open from Monday 15 June) or the Jazz North website

For further information please contact camp leader Helena Summerfield at helena@jazznorth.org

My daughter has absolutely loved it and has learnt so much! She has already asked me when Jazz Camp will be on again and is desperate to come back.
