Jazzahead – are you ready for export?

jazzahead! is the European jazz industry event that takes place in Bremen at the end of April every year. If you’re an artist and you feel you’re ready to start making new connections in Europe then it’s an indispensable first step. There is also the opportunity to apply for a showcase gig at jazzahead!. It’s a very competitive selection process and in past year’s UK band representation has been just one or two groups.

Creative directors Nigel Slee and Steve Mead attend jazzahead! and Nigel has made a short video from jazzahead! 2018 featuring artists and promoters giving their top tips for someone going to jazzahead for the first time.

Matt Fripp, Jazz Fuel, has also updated his guide for musicians thinking of going to jazzahead 2019.
