An outstanding band of young musicians is being given the chance to make its name, thanks to the Jazz North Introducing scheme which is run in partnership with jazz festivals from across the North of England.
The fine summer weather drew out the crowds to the Manchester Jazz Festival on Monday 21 July and the Jazz North Northern Line showcase day. Monday 21 July is the date for a special showcase day featuring 12 Northern line artists. 12 bands will play in 12 hours from 12pm at three central Manchester venues in close walking distance.
