You’re invited to see 10 bands in 10 hours at the 2016 northern line showcase day

Monday 25th July will be the northern line showcase day at mjf (Manchester Jazz Festival). This is an open public event and free to attend and an unbeatable opportunity to experience the full and varied range of music from the latest northern line artist roster.

northern line is Jazz North’s exciting touring initiative that offers promoters a hand-picked roster of northern artists selected by a panel of industry specialists.

Three venues within easy walking distance

We’ll be presenting the bands across three venues at this year – the Hobgoblin Pavilion in Albert Square, The Central Library performance space and St Ann’s Church. Performances start at 12.00 noon and run through until 22:00. All three venues are within a few minutes walking distance of each other. Performance lengths will vary between 30-45 minutes long. This is to allow time to walk to the different venues and to make it possible to see all the bands play.
